Personal
Information during checkout is only collected over a secure server (128
bit encryption) at the time of placing an order for the process of fulfilling
the order.
This
is kept confidential, and is not sold or given to any other company or individual.
Occasional promotional emails (once
every few months) will only be sent to you if you have checked the email
subscription box on order page 2 of 3 or have requested to be added elsewhere
on the site or through an email sent to us. Click

to read previous newsletters. These promotional emails cover the combined
web sites of Sacred Mountain Retreat, Crestone
Mall, and Enlightened-Feminine
web sites. To be automatically removed, simply click on the remove link at
the bottom of the newsletter or send an email to webmaster@sacredmountainretreat.org,
with the words Remove included in the subject line, and include your email
address in the body of the email.
Email addresses and personal data
is never sold or revealed to any third party, other than online address verification
by the credit card company. Your email address is not revealed to the credit
card company (Wells Fargo). We do not believe in the present scourge of unsolicited
email on the Internet. We believe that it is not in integrity for companies
to sell or try to gather this information without your consent and we take
strong measures to protect your email address.
Cookies are encrypted and minimal, a
simple number (like 12345)
stored only in memory on your local
computer necessary that is necessary for the ordering and checkout process.
In addition, if you allow permanent cookies, there is a cookie to remember
the country you have entered in during checkout (example " United States),
and
a cookie existing only on your computer with a simple number (like 875632)
that allows you to pick up where you left off. No information like your name,
credit card or any such information is stored in the cookie. When cookie values
are retrieved they are validated on our database to ensure the number is valid,
if not then it is discarded.
The cookies are
not used in any other way including ad tracking or promotional tricks,
and
are
so simple that they are useless to anyone else.
Order Process
Step One:
is entered by clicking the "Shopping-Cart"
menu item on any page. Here you review and can change the contents of your
shopping cart. Every time you add an item to your order, the shopping cart
comes up as well.
Step Two: Click on the "Continue
to Next Step: Entering Shipping and Payment Detail" button near the button
of the shopping cart page. This will bring you to a secure server where you
can enter these details.
Step Three: After entering your payment
details, you can look at a final review of the items you have ordered including
tax if any, payment and shipping details and shipping details. Then if everything
is OK, you click on the submit order button. If not make any changes.
A confirmation page will then be
displayed and an email will automatically be sent to your email address. When
the order is shipped, you will receive an email with the shipping details.
A receipt will also be sent with the order. You may cancel an order, easily,
at any time before it ships simply be sending an email
to us requesting to do so.
The contents of your shopping cart are maintained for up to 3 days. The site knows who you are by a simple cookie stored on your computer, that is then accessed against a database. This cookie contains no personal information, rather it is a simple number, for example "1234". This cookie can help us to auto fill your address details for future orders, but at no time are credit card details autofilled. Security
All personal
information including your name, address details and credit card numbers are
given over a 128 bit encrypted secure server, so that your information is
kept safe. For further security credit cards are ALSO encrypted in a proprietary
highly encrypted format in the database, and are deleted from the database
after the order is processed. Thus this site maintains a much higher level
of security for your credit card information than normal.
No personal information or payment details of
any kind are ever stored in a cookie on your site.
We never sell, loan, or make available your email address, name, or personal details. Read our Personal Privacy policy above for further information.
Shipping Information for USA orders
Shipping is
charged at postal cost only.
All items are sent via Priority Mail through
the Post Office. If you would like us to send them an alternate method (UPS,
overnight, or bookrate (books only), then state so in the comments box. Shipping
is a flat $4 for anywhere in the USA.
There is no Packaging or Handling Fee.
For Books only, if you prefer we can send them via
USPS book rate. This costs approx. $2 for the first book and approx. $1 per
book thereafter. However Book-Rate takes much longer to arrive than priority
mail, usually about 1 to 2 weeks. If you prefer this option, then please state
so in the comments box. Book-rate is available only to the continental US
(not Hawaii or Alaska).
Shipping Information for orders outside of the USA
For outside of
the USA, shipping is at cost. Are default shipping method is Global
Priority Mail which takes an estimated 4 to 5 days. (Please note that as
of late, overseas orders are taking longer
because of increased postal security). Shipping cost is estimated. The estimated
amount is displayed on the page after you enter in your address details,
and before the final click to submit your order. The actual amount may be
more
or less, although the estimation routine is usually accurate.
You are only charged for the actual shipping amount, no handling or packaging
fees. WE never charge you more than what is stated on the web site.
For international orders, a checkbox is displayed whereby
you can ask us to email you prices for various shipping options and await your
approval before shipping the order (and processing payment.)
No COD (cash on Delivery) for countries other than
the USA. For most countries, a letter sized package can be sent for US
$9.00 by Global Priority Mail. For Canada and Mexico the cost is $7.00. Usually
a couple of books or about 5 packages of herbal tea formulas will fit in this
envelope.
