Excerpts

***

The tantric path is for those people wanting to achieve liberation from the wheel of unconscious death and rebirth in one lifetime. It is at times a seemingly unspiritual way of approaching the spiritual path, because its very nature defies all that wishes to contract our existence within unenlightened social consciousness and religious contractions.

***

The Buddhists say and I concur, that one's approach to tantra cannot be confused sloppy or random, it requires clarity, pure mindedness and much refinement, and that there is an equal force between self reliance and reliance upon the body of ascended masters or wisdom deities.

***

From the day I arrived my master drew me into his intimate radiance. He could make my fever rise and lower by the intensity of his attention towards me, all of which was on a non-verbal level. This force of love blissfully immobilized me. There were no questions within me; instinctively I knew my entire karmic residue was being purified in the fire of kundalini, all the dross being burned in the fever and I only knew love.

***

My initial tantric initiation took me to a place where I was far removed from the every day dramas of other people. My goal in life to be liberated from the wheel of birth and death set me on a very alone journey to self-mastery. This has been for me one of the greatest blessings of the tantric path. My beloved and I say now to others when they speak of difficulties with aloneness, that aloneness is "all-one" without the extra "L" which stands for Love.

***

I am blessed to say that I am able to write this book from personal experience, rather than from anyone else's perspective, or from within the context of a religious dharma that would have flavored and shaped my journey. Tantra was given to me totally in the raw, there was no buffer of dialogue or organization and that is how I see it remaining an eternal mystical path. I say this firmly believing that it is not through the study of books or following a prepared system that we come to liberation but rather through dynamic self motivation, pure practice and the hard knocks of life's sometimes seemingly non compassionate ways.

It is truly amazing that so much suppression, confusion, and struggle can be accepted as normal in intimate relationships. We as humans consider this unhappiness in ego-based mindsets as being how it is, and we have all participated and allowed it to be perpetuated for what seems eons of time. Even those of us whom are so called more aware and liberated fall into huge problems when it comes to our expressing love in intimate ways. Few beings seem really ready to become egoless and willing to take the leap into the infinite realms of possibilities that await us all, in the journey of enlightenment and co-creation of heaven on earth. Perhaps this arena of relationships is one of our greatest testing grounds, because we are divine beings, yet we are unwilling to acknowledge and love ourselves totally and set ourselves free. Being unwilling to set ourselves free we are also unwilling to set others free into the self-recovery of true power and divine destiny.

***

The most worthwhile relationships are those where both parties are committed to personal growth, where each other's freedom is honored, where you don't own or suffocate each other or yourself and where letting go of the relationship can be done gracefully at the appropriate time. When one understands that deep personal fulfillment is not to be found in another, rather it is found when living true to oneself, then one is ready for the journey of self-responsibility and will readily accept self-discipline.
With this deep personal commitment, karmic completion's can be done, many soul mates can be found and let go of, and we move on towards being karma free and manifesting the "Beloved." The twin ray is another term for the Beloved made manifest. This was my journey through the power of the tantric path, and has proved the possibility and truth of the Beloved Twin-Ray. More souls, than ever before, are dreaming this dream, and have yet to realize the intensity of what karmic completion truly means.

***

In India my master transmitted Tantra on its highest level without need of words. This set me on a journey to my beloved that took thirteen years of intense growth and karmic completions. During these years I engaged with several men on a tantric level, which was for me experience beyond personality or mind. All I knew was that love is the greatest power in the universe and that I was married to God. I had overcome attachment to the outer forms of god, and they, as part of the impermanence of things came and went in divine order. I was constantly asked to remain unattached to passing experiences and simultaneously remain passionate in my intensity.

***

In consort practice one does not look at spirituality as a way out, rather one is willing to embrace whatever needs to be dealt with, and transforms all ordinary appearances into divine outpourings where nirvana and samsara merge, where there is no separation between pleasure or pain. The passion and bliss that is generated is turned within to build a body of nectar, the inner temple. One is not looking outwardly for the security of a relationship. All attachment to form is dissolved and one flows in the cosmic ocean with praise and gratitude.

The ability to transmute and transform energy on the tantric path is vital to success. Clarity of purpose and pure vision are cornerstones that must be in place for successful practice. To understand how we create karmic discord and disease is a big step forwards spiritually. We cannot continue to say we are spiritually evolved and then give our power away when faced with illness by taking drugs that diminish our consciousness and healing powers.
